Freya + Co

In 2020, Freya + Co launched a dynamic new business to provide organizational leadership to ensure the fulfillment of the mission, vision and values of non-profits, foundations and associations. We sought to create a space where clients could come and feel known, challenged, and guided by an experienced professional.

Liz Moe

M.Phil

With a background in public health and health promotion, she believes we should measure the success of our society on the health and well-being of all people.

“I want all people to have long and healthy lives, which means working across boundaries to find new solutions to stubborn problems.”

Liz uses strategy, program design, evaluation and measurement, fundraising and operations. She looks at the big picture, but also works hard on details and logistics.  She enjoys a well-run meeting and finds energy in bringing together a mix of folks to learn and act on complex topics.

As an experienced non-profit professional, Liz has held director, manager and officer level positions as a funder and as a grantee. While she has a strong technical background, her accomplishments are varied:

•. Led strategy and measurement of community investments at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Center for Prevention, with a focus on health equity.

•. At Children’s Minnesota, her fundraising efforts supported services and systems to help vulnerable families.

•. At the Minnesota Department of Health, she created and coordinated the Minnesota Cancer Alliance for almost 10 years, overseeing state and federal budget processes and implementing strict administrative procedures.

Our Partners

Freya + Co is a founding member in a boutique collection of consultancies that operate together under the name Dendros.

The other consulting practices include expertise in organizational development, advancing racial equity, diversity and inclusion, leadership coaching, and executive transition. Within this ecosystem, Freya + Co services will correspond with non-profit lifecycles, following smaller enterprises as they evolve, maximize potential, collapse and regenerate.  Eventually, Freya + Co will offer an innovation center and co-working space located in the Twin Cities.
